Home-made pizzocheri every day.

Your holiday in Valtellina will not be complete if you don’t try our traditional dishes. Thus, you can try the most famous recipes of the area in the restaurant Bellavista:

  • Pizzoccheri made at home every day: buckwheat pasta similar to tagliatelle, dressed with Casera cheese, grana cheese, savoy cabbage and butter
  • Sciatt: fried crunchy balls of pasta made of buckwheat flour, filled with melted Casera cheese served on a bed of chicory
  • Polenta taragna: can’t be missed when talking about Valtellina cuisine. It is made of corn flour and buckwheat grain, seasoned with olive oil, fontina cheese and butter
  • Taroz: mashed potatoes served with green and boiled beans, Casera cheese, butter and onions

These are our main typical dishes but you will be able to try our bresaola, cured venison, Bitto and Scimudin cheese.

Besides classical Valtellina dishes, here you can order vegetarian and vegan dishes, dishes for people with different food intolerances and gluten-free dishes.

Fabulous Pizzoccheri

Hand-made, excellent cheese and vegetables from the garden. Delicious, seasoned well and the portions are enormous. Besides, Signora keeps on walking from table to table and top up the dishes, not only pizzoccheri but also other dishes. There are some theme lunches arranged in accordance with the period. I highly recommend the place.
